Designed for engines that are being pushed harder and revved higher. A stronger chain, billet tensioner side guide, and hardened billet sprocket are better able to take the extra force from upgraded valvesprings and cams
Atomic Heavy Duty Timing Chain - thicker, stronger and higher quality than genuine and other aftermarket chains (see photos)
Standard Guide - The 3 bolt fixed guide works well so we use high quality standard replacements
Atomic Hardened Billet Crank Sprocket - Harder wearing than factory so it survives the extra vibration and harmonics caused by aftermarket rods, pistons, higher rpm, spicy tunes, etc.
Atomic Billet Pivot Bolt - Made out of super tough billet CroMoly Steel. Better withstands extra chain load created by stiffer springs and bigger cams
Atomic Billet Guide - The tensioner side guide carries the majority of the force of the chain and has to deal with movement from loading and unloading. We have modified the curve of the guide to stop the plastic snapping under high loads. They are machined out of steel billets before case hardening and black oxidise finishing them.
Genuine Ford Tensioner - Supports the guide and keeps tension in the chain system. These tensioners are well known as the most reliable solution. We are working on Atomic Tensioner 2.0.
Standard Top Guide - The simplest part in the system just seems to work. We use high quality replacement guides.
Atomic Vernier Adjustable Cam Gears - Designed to achieve dead stable cam timing for higher power motors. VCT gears are sensitive to oil pressure and valve spring stiffness and often cause inconsistent running, stalling and power loss.
